If you live anywhere near the coast, then you’ll know all about seagulls!
Many would say their numbers have reached epidemic proportions, but the fact remains seagulls are protected by law, so culling them is not permitted – for the time being at least.
That doesn’t mean to say we can’t take effective measures to dramatically reduce the nuisance they can cause to homes and businesses across the region.
At Force10, we have been hugely successful in recent years in assisting clients with seagull control – it’s a major part of the work we undertake in keeping the bird population at bay.
We get enquiries from all types of commercial operation – shops, offices, warehouses, hospitals, factories. So don’t think you are alone in being persecuted by these low flying, insolent scavengers.
And for homes all the way along the Sussex coast and further inland – any place where seagulls become a nuisance or even a danger, we’ll act on your behalf.
Using Ingenious Tactics Works!
Seagulls, like many birds, are persistent. If they’ve found a place to nest one year, the chances are they’ll be back the next to reclaim their territory.
But we can supply and install equipment that’ll stop them in their tracks. In fact, we have some ingenious ways of putting a stop to their activities!
Using netting or spikes are two highly effective procedures which we commonly use when we encounter seagulls nesting areas on flat roofs, roof valleys and gullies, or out of sight behind chimneys. Other methods include gels and acoustic devices or even egg oiling.
Where seagulls are especially prolific, we will turn to the services of falcons which are public enemy number one for seagulls! As alternatives we operate visual hawk kites or laser systems which can be equally effective.
In our experience, it pays to get on top of seagull control before it gets out of hand. So if you are plagued with these noisy, messy, over confident and voracious birds, call us today and we’ll swoop on them, so they don’t swoop on you!
